Tuscaloosa Theatre Troupe is a joint venture between Bibi Steinke and Sarah Beams.  Both avid Thespians themselves!  Bibi and Sarah set out to offer everyone theatrical opportunities and to nuture both talent and love for the arts.  They share similar visions, ideas and love for theatre and want to offer a safe environment for those that would love to be involved!  We strive to do things a little differently!  Our first show Sleeping Beauty was for homeschoolers only!  A Night of Broadway and Mystery, was an original dessert theatre written and directed by Joie Steele a 15 year old!  Frozen was our first theatre camp where campers learned an entire show in one week.    Speaking roles and even some lead roles were given to young thespians with dyslexia and Aspergers, because with the right approach everyone is able to thrive and perform! 13 The Musical was our first mentorship program.  This entire show was put together by the teen cast themselves from set painting, choreography and even music under the guidance of our veteran director Mathew H von Redlich and our specialized mentors that came in during the rehearsal process. We are also proud to sponsor and support Flutterfly Projects with their show Firebringer.  This show is completely produced, directed, choreographed and musically directed  by college students.

No talent is too little.  If you want to perform we will look at giving you every opportunity to get you on stage and in-front of an audience. If you have a project you would like us to support reach out to us for consideration.
